At Kertzman Valuations Inc. (“KVI”), we understand value — Stephen Kertzman co-authored the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators’ course books and has written various articles on it. With two decades of extensive experience in both, business valuation and loss quantification, Stephen Kertzman has been recognized as a leading practitioner in the field. Stephen has been called upon numerous times as a lecturer, expert witness, and advisor to lawyers, mediators, CPAs, governments, business owners, members of the Board of Directors, professional associations, industry associations and individuals.
Our significant industry experience provides our clients with the confidence that our business valuations and loss quantification reports are comprehensive and able to withstand scrutiny in Court and at International Arbitrations. Our professionals are actively engaged with the CICBV, the IIBV and various industry associations and accordingly we stay current on the latest changes in the law, accounting pronouncements and valuation theory.
We offer different levels of services associated with our independent professional reports:
· basic calculation of value;
· detailed estimate valuation reports suitable for litigation and estate and tax assignments; and,
· comprehensive valuation reports suitable for securities regulations purposes.
We provide full litigation support services that include expert testimony, reviews and comments regarding other expert’s reports, and if appropriate, preparation of direct and cross examination questions, and the preparation of demonstrative visual aids for use at trial.
KVI can also assist by providing consulting valuation services regarding mergers, acquisitions, divestitures or other similar matters involving a business interest. In addition, Stephen Kertzman can mediate disputes regarding business valuation and loss quantification issues.
